I’ve always been fascinated with the circus, the people, their performances, travel and created my own romanticised stories surrounding them. This really was a self indulgent project full of opportunities to explore themes and experiment with styling, set building and lighting. This series of images was created around the circus theme focusing on the character of the Ringmistress.
